True Art
By Gossip Boy
7th August, 2021
This much I've seen from true art
like when flowers bub up pretty or
when the tired sun weds the sea
this almost is so amazing to behold
just how much the ever subtle chaos
that these sights do unfold
the flowers fight to see the sun
and a whiz or two of breeze
whiles the sun wrestles the darkness
from the night it precedes
it doesn't matter what does matter
the irony pervase all the same
to whip or revel in disaster
those choices will challenge all who bear its a name.
I dedicate this poem "True Art" to Melvin Adade Darfour. He is my inspiration for this poem. Tak.
