UTAG which is the University Teachers Association Of Ghana has taken up strike action since the beginning of this month, and they do not seem to be ending it anytime soon.
The main question here is, has the strike really affected students?
To an extent yes and no. Yes because COVID 19 already delayed an academic year which was later shortened in universities like LEGON where there is a batch system and learning weeks shortened. These same students comprising of final years which have been delayed from finishing school due to Covid are getting their time to prolong more by this strike action.
No, because in the case of some students they are really happy they would be able to get enough time to study and prepare for their examinations.
However, what is your opinion has the strike affected you as a university student?
Good work Jess!
