21st August, 2021
Following the strike action by UTAG which is coming to a halt by Monday 23rd October 2021, lecturers are meant to go back to teaching.
Some universities where students, were to write exams before the strike, are conducting exams starting Monday. The University of Ghana which has its level
100 and 400 students in session have sent a mail notifying students that their impending exams if to commence on Wednesday 25th.
Some students are calling for more time to be able to revise since the strike brought about a level of uncertainty and students were not in the right mental state to study.
Other students are also calling for online examinations, the reason being some students have gone home and are yet to return to school.
However, it seems the school administration is going ahead with exams irrespective of the cry of students. They are having both online and on-sure examinations being conducted. Maybe they feel students have been given ample time to prepare.
