"Money will take people far" are the words of highlife legend, Abrantie Amakye Dede. Humans do all manner of things and go any extent to become wealthy.

Individuals and brands that are counted among the wealthy in the world today possess more than half of the elements highlighted in this informative piece.

1. Prayer: Prayer can be said to be man's communication with God. Most, if not all religions in the world, pray to a Supreme Being for long life, protection, favour, good life, etc.

Some people who have successfully managed to be rich have hinted that the secrets to their riches is constant communication with God through prayers. If you are praying to the heavenly father, do so deeply from your heart and watch the outcome closely.

2. Hard Work: Hard work does not only involve carrying out something with your physical strength but with your mind as well. Starting something new can be very difficult and one key element required to sustain it is hard work.

When you take time to appreciate the stories of the world's affluent people, one common thing you will hear over and over is hard work.

3. Consistency: This is simply the ability to do what you started continually, even if you don't succeed.

The most difficult part in every venture is the start. In addition, we learn from making mistakes. It has, therefore, become very important that you keep pushing hard because that is what will make you learn to become a better person.

Never be deterred by the mistakes or failures that you encounter from the onset.

4. Patience: I am not talking about the female-given them here (lol). Being patient can save you from all kind of avoidable dangers.

In the quest to make some money for yourself and aquire wealth, things can get rocky but hey! you got to exercise high levels of patience.

While you are patient, don't sleep! Keep going harder at what you do best. The right time will definitely come for you.

5. Resilience: One common characteristic that runs through wealthy people and brands their resilience. This element has to do with recovering quickly from a misfortune, illness or depression.

Like you've come to know, young businesses face countless hardships before they finally stand stronger. During this rocky period of hardships, you as the man in control has to be resilient in order to keep the business on its toes and running.

6. Sacrifice: Take your mind to the Bible if you are a Christian. Reflect on the sacrifices that the Israelites made to God. Now that is not the sacrifice I am talking about (hahaha).

If you are determined to be a successful person financially, you should prepare to forgo the 'not-so-important' things you enjoy doing in order to have more time to embrace and work on what brings in the cash. For instance, use the long hours you spend with a lady on the phone to focus on promoting your business that has only two clients.

7. Investment: After trying so hard to gather some money, it is only wise to invest the money into your business and possibly into other ventures as well.

Before making any kind of investment, there is the need to consider the pros and cons as well as weighing the available options. In fact, it is best to seek expert advice from professionals before investing anywhere.

With that, you are assured of "too much money".

You will hardly learn these in school but truth be told, they are what have put successful names like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and the likes where they are now.
